ok! For Anime Expo 2009, Team Reddaemon will be doing Dirge of Cerberus. We missed our opportunity this year, but we won't give up on it, especially since we already started on it, lol.

Thats all i had to say. So that I can keep reminding myself the tasks I have to do.

I will update later, in the future, about my Anime Expo 08 experience. And I'll be heading to Comic Con in my sari costume too, so i plan to make a journal entry about that too.

This has been set. Our Digimon cosplay is on hiatus since the convention is gonna be at LA. D: Bringing out costumes there would be uncomfortable and troublesome.

Unfortunately for my Transformers cosplay I was planning, I won't be able to do the costume this year. Because since we are going to try being in the Masquerade again, we will try making these FF7 costumes UBER. So money-wise, I don't have enough to spend between the two projects.

However, I wanna try doing this girl too:

Atleast its transformers and I almost have her skin tone. :D My friend says she looks ugly, body appearance wise, not costume-wise, but I just say its the way they drew her.

Alrighty then... Update!!!

Since AX is being retarded it's a great possibility that I won't be attending. Unless they get their butts in gear and change the location. In anycase, I'll be working on a costume in the meantime.

Steph wanted to make a Masquerade Skit based offa Digimon. So here's the rundown of that:

Zephyrmon Sakuyamon

[EDIT] Change of plans, I'll be dressing up as Zephyrmon. Since we all wanna do the Ultimate/Mega forms of the digimon, Steph will do Sakuyamon, and I'll do Kazemon's evolution form. I figure this will work out better, cuz I don't have the hips of Sakuyamon. Not that it should matter I think, but I like Zephyrmon's design. hehe.

And Before the Masq. we'd dress up as the Digimon Human Partner.

But seeing how things are going, that may be postponed till who knows.

Maybe preparing to sell at the AA will help me with my portfolio work. hehe. ;S

After having a good dose of AX, Im happy to watch even more anime now. I'm totally gonna get into Death Note more. And I am gonna BUY that statue that I have a picture of. Hellsing's Walter Bust Figure. I saw it there, but I decided to not get it. lol! How sad. Quite possibly my only bad move. But other than that, I am pretty happy with what I got.

And I wanna go to Burger King to get those Transformers toy. XD

Bought some plushies, Gundam Model, Comic Books (not MANGA, i really mean comic books), a new bag, a figure, and DVDs. : )

The Masquerade was a huge mess backstage, but all in all I learned more than ever about different stuff. New techniques for costume making. Masquerade Procedures. Experience. And just a whole new way of looking at things.

The LBCC staff were not very cooperative with the AX either. Which led to a whole lot of miscommunications, messups, and brain splody.

Lower classman friend from Bravo saw us walking by, and called us over. : ) He was dressed as the Shinigami. His friend who dressed up as L was so funny. XD They put my name in the "Death Notebook" so understandably, I started dying in the next picture. (Notice the Death god is writing my name with a Hello Kitty Pen. lawl)

That traitor L took Steph's badge and showed it to the Shinigami too. TRAITOR!!! hehe.

Such Pretty Figures..... Need to research this anime called Lamento. x3 There needs to be more male figures. haha.

We worked....from 2pm to 12 am. I drove from home to downtown then to hollywood. Parking was horrible. Traffic was horrible. Makeup was expensive. I'm tired.

I tried on the contacts steph had. And I ended buying some myself. Not bad. Felt wierd on my eyes. But eh. Twas a different experience.

We got back home at like...8. Then ate for an hour. Then recorded somemore. We were suppose to finish by today. But we had alot of technical difficulties. So Monday is most likely the day we'll finish. Since they have free time on Monday only.

Monday is when my class starts. Bleh.

Anyways. Bought my fabric. Tired.

Memorial Day Update!

Working on the armor around the hips. Already made the shape, just need to color and attact it to belt. Uh... I'm starting to paper mache the arm gauntlet thingies, so that the surface is smoother.

Finished making the shape for the tip of the sword. I think I need to trim it a bit. And the armor peices on the sword I need to paper mache too, cuz its not very smooth looking. Theeeen..... (hopefully once thats all done) I can start coloring the armor peices.

I still need to look for stickers to put on my costume. >.< GUH.

Started to trim the tail peice.

Made the pattern for the back side designs. The ones with the symbols on it. Annnnnd... oh ya, I finished shaping the shoe armor. Just need to paint it black now.

So I still need to color the Side armor, shoulder armor, hand gauntlets, shoe armor, sword armor, tip blade of sword. Then draw designs and paint the sword in the places I know needs painting. And draw designs on bathing suit. Then Shape the belts to fit around me. Make more belt like things to fit around my arms, thighs, and legs. Make the flaps that go over the boots. Cut out and paint the back side designs. Style wig.

Can I finish all this in 4 weeks??? XD I better!

Oh, and for the skit.. I need to voice record the narration.

Luckily, this week will be my last week having Guitar class in the morning. Soooo, more time to work on costume. >.>;; GUH! 4 weeks!!! I seriously need to start scheduling all this. To make it in time.

Must stop doing hw! And paying attention to class! XD

Anyways, time to play .hack//G.U. SHHHHHH!! I need a break after working on my costume since 1...:30. XD

I've spent so much money already. Guh! This has to be by far the most work i've ever done for a costume. But I guess it's because I'm planning to be judged on it at the Masquerade. I'm even going so far as to get contact lenses. (yes, I just decided today) I'm wondering if I should still order that Gothic Lolita Dress. x3 [Cosmates Dress] Anyways, on to the money eating list!

Sunday Update!

Yey! My thumbs hurt because of it. But im glad I have it. WONDERFLEX! The molds are in it's rough stages right now, but later I'll smooth it out and fix up the edges.

I was able to finish making the basic parts of the armor for the sword, and then tomorrow I shall work on the shoulder armor parts. That is.. If I am not working to finish my research paper which is due on Tues. :D I hate my english class.

6 weeks and counting! Where is the Masq. Sign ups? (T.T) I hope it doesn't finally show up while im at school.

Progess so far!

I have my wig right now. But I'll work on that later. I still need hairspray and whatnot. I heard got2b hairspray was good. And I still need to straighten out the hair with hot water. (bleh) In the meantime, I must work my way to persuade my mom to let me use eye contacts. The costume will look better with Red Contacts!

Less than 7 weeks left!!!! SO SAYS THE CALENDAR and the ominous Countdown @ Anime Expo.com

Im like 50% on my sword, and 5% on my costume? 6 weeks to go. And im trying to sign up for the Masquerade this year, but the sign ups are late! I'm afraid that if I sleep too long one night, the sign ups will be online while i'm unconcious, and by the time i wake up to check it will be FILLED UP! GAHHHH!!! I really wanna participate this year. I want to do a skit, so I'm hoping my 2 friends will be volunteers for me. : )

I'm wondering tho, if I should get contact lenses for myself. Red in color. Theres a website that most people get their contacts from, but ofcourse, I'd need to go to my eye doctor first. The lowest I found was for like....40+ dollars.

Anyways, I really wanted to make a Lucario costume. (from the new pokemon movie) But i'm totally swamped with this costume. And spent over 7 new video games worth of money. (MYAA!)

I'm thinking of starting a new project once this Anime Expo passes. Pokemon Related. Not sure if i'll go thru with it 100%. (-_-) Need money. I need a job!!!

Memo to self: Buy the GITS series at the AX! Host Club too!

Ok, the latest news on my costume progress. :D I basically ditched all my past ideas, and this is the list now. I may not finish all of them for the Anime Expo, but I'll bring them for the Comic-con in San Diego.

Thats right! Im going to the Comic-con! <3 Since I've been drawing comics myself, and there are various things that isn't really done at the Anime Expo, I will most likely enjoy the experience of this different con.

Costumes: Im currently working on Nny from Johnny the Homicidal Maniac.

* Boots- I need to find the right boots, the ones i have is kinda, platform-y.
* Black Shirt- Need one.
* Hair- Cut it before Anime Expo.
